I began professional writing as an advertising assistant, writing copy. Since publishing two poems while in high school, I have published a Colorado Springs newspaper column, 15 articles, and 4 book reviews in Colorado Springs women’s newspaper Expressions; 225 publications (in the US and Canada) include 6 articles for CIPA newsletters, plus 33 poems. My international twelve-page newsletter Global Citizen 1987-88 earned recognition from Colorado Governor Roy Romer and author Richard Bach. My B.A. well-prepared me for working as a manuscript editor and writer (University of Colorado, 3.5 GPA, 1985). My additional studies include hundreds of writers’ magazines, 75 how-to books, 7 courses in creative writing, numerous college writing courses, and workshops with Hollywood screenwriters. Plus my own first professional screenplay, first draft, The Shadow Assault (supernatural true story) received Honorary Recognition from the Santa Barbara national contest July 2024; I am completing it this year.

I have been writing since age twelve, publishing since 1959, publishing books since 1982. My spirituality books and memoirs have received 25 book awards to-date, including 6 First Place and 5 International. Denver's Pathways magazine published 12 chapters from my book The Soul Path, and Denver's Spirit Quest magazine published 6 chapters from my book Wings of Light.
